In the INOS mill of TPS-Technitube Röhrenwerke, seamless tubes are manufactured. Through cold forming of a hollow bar, the outside diameter and the wall thickness of the hollow are reduced to a target size. This is done in the cold pilger rolling process, in which the tube is formed through rolling, or in the hollow drawing process, in which the tube is drawn through a die.
