Grade 12 • 3.7105 • TPS-Titanium 12
In addition to the advantageous characteristics of pure titanium grades, low alloy titanium grades show a better corrosion resistance. By alloying smaller amounts of Pd, the resistance against reduced solutions is increased and the risk of crevice corrosion, especially in media containing chloride, is reduced. This grade is thus used in chemical plants, especially with highly-aggressive media and with media containing chlorides.
